For over 40 years we have been facilitating sports in Glen Alpine.
G.A.R.F. is a non-profit organization that works with the Burke County Recreation Department in order to provide sports for the youth of our community.
Currently football, outdoor/indoor soccer, baseball, softball, basketball and cheerleading are offered to children between the ages of 5-13.

 

Simpson Field Fun Day / Glen Alpine vs WA Young Softball  Game

A fundraiser is being planned for October 2009 at Simpson Field, all proceeds will be used to make improvements to Simpson Field.
Events will include inflatable rides for the kids and a softball game between Glen Alpine and WA Young.
