Why Sponsor / Donate?
The money you donate to a non-profit is tax deductible. When you donate locally the money is used in our community for our kids. The alternative is to send all the money to Washington and hope some of it comes back to our community.
It is also a great way of advertising you business.
Where does the money go?
Even though Glen Alpine Recreation is a non-profit there are still alot of bills to pay. Insurance, power, lease and other ultilities on a monthly basis. Then you have the fees associated with playing in the Burke County leagues. We will not put a finacial statement on the internet, but do go over financial report at our meetings as well as the town meetings. As part of our contract with Burke County we will also be providing them with quarterly financial statements. One huge benefit to all this reporting is that it makes Glen Alpine Recreation available for grants.

We have several sponsorship packages that offer different size signs as well as different options on where the signs are displayed.
Remember that team sponsership is also a great way of support the kids in our community. GARF will provide sponsors with the proper information for tax records.
